Ubuntu 18.04.3 with kernel 5.0 on Dell 3530
I'm running Ubuntu 16.04 with kernel version 4.15.0-60 right now. Recently a kernel update to 4.15.0-60 broke my Apple Magic Trackpad 2 DKMS driver. I have a few options:
- Hack my kernel module so it works with recent 4.15 kernel
- Revert back to an older 4.15 kernel and do not update update the kernel again
- Update to Ubuntu 18.04.3 with kernel 5.0 that has built-in support for Apple Magic Trackpad 2
I am curious if anyone has tried running Ubuntu 18.04.3 with kernel 5.0 on their Dell 3530? If so how is it working out?
