Suitable Dell Pro 14 laptop to install Linux Mint 21.3 edge (or 22.3)

Hi All,

I want to make sure that I obtain the right Dell Pro 14 laptop

that can correctly install and run preferably Linux Mint 21.3

edge (kernel 6.5) or if necessary Linux Mint 22.3.

It would be helpful if any Dell staff member or user can provide some details on the installation steps on the Dell Pro 14 with any of the following cpus:

-> AMD Ryzen 230, 250 (these cpus seem to have better

performance?)

-> Intel 13th gen, eg. 1345u, 1355u

-> Intel 100 series, eg. 100u, 120u, 150u

You can assume disabling of secure boot via the BIOS, single boot configuration with Linux Mint only, and separate partitions for root, home and swap. Details on the SSD partitioning steps using GPT and UEFI boot mode would be helpful.
