Sound Juicer Not Downloading Track Names From Music Brainz Anymore

I am Running a factory installed Ubuntu 8.04.2 on a mini 10. This makes the computer pretty useless for playing CDs.  The problem is described in these links:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sound-juicer/+bug/455461

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=650991

My computer has replaced my stereo, in that I play all my CDs through my computer.  I just bought a bunch of new CDs and find I cannot load them in with song names.  I have otherwise been very happy with the Dell loaded Ubuntu, and hope that this problem can be resolved.

Is there a fix for this?  Is there an upgrade path to a version where this works?

I found a solution.  Philipp Wolfer fixed this: see: launchpad.net/.../musicbrainz.  There was not a build for 8.04, So I did have to upgrade to generic Ubuntu 10.04.  Then I added sources:

deb ppa.launchpad.net/.../ubuntu lucid main

deb-src ppa.launchpad.net/.../ubuntu lucid main

Then I used package manager to add musicbraainz3-6 -installed it

then used package manager installed 2.28.1-3~ppa1~lucid1
