Ryzen 7 Audio
I wanted to see if anyone else is having problems with audio on their Dell and Ryzen 7. I have an Inspiron 7405 with a Ryzen 7 4700U. The audio card is reported as ALC3204.
When I first installed Ubuntu 20.10 and it came up, the audio worked as expected. The laptop speakers worked; it detected the jack plug, and played external in those cases. Bluetooth audio and dock audio worked as expected too. The internal microphone worked. A USB microphone worked too. All great. The audio sink name was really long and had the term "Fam 17".
After the first restart, audio has not come back. The microphone still works. But audio is just a "Dummy" sink. If I use a dock jack, it works (I think; I would have to verify). If I use Bluetooth, it works. But I cannot get audio out of the laptop speakers or through speakers plugged into its jack.
The kernel version did not change between boots. I verified through dmesg. I tried the latest v5.8 and v5.9 mainline kernels and went back to the v5.7 one available in apt. Nothing works. Something must have updated after first boot, but the updates were too numerous to tell what. Maybe a firmware package?

You can try the workaround https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1901901/comments/8, it helped me on Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 14ARE05.
Internal microphone doesn't work for me. Tested with Ubuntu 20.04 (kernel 5.4 and 5.8) and Ubuntu 20.10 (kernel 5.8 and 5.9). In Settings I can see some microphone devices, but none is working (I get no response when I'm speaking)
