Installing Ubuntu on Inspiron 15R Special Edition
I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 15R Special Edition and I tried to install Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on it. The installation went smoothly, but it failed to boot after the installation. I tried disabling SecureBoot in the BIOS and I rebooted the computer. It still failed to boot. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Try the install again with Secure Boot disabled and make sure of two things:
1. Need to select UEFI DVD in BIOS to boot
2. Need 64bit Ubuntu 14.04 (Supports UEFI)
Did you keep the Windows version that was preloaded from Dell Factory or did you install along with Windows or erase Windows and replace with Ubuntu?
