GRUB dependencies
Hi, everyone.
During its normal operation, Software Updater displayed a message titled Package dependencies cannot be resolved. The problem is this:
grub-efi-amd64-signed: Depends: grub2-common (>= 2.02~beta2-36ubuntu3.31) but 2.04-1ubuntu35.6 is to be installed
Any ideas on how to fix this? I have not messed with GRUB or added packages by hand.
Thanks!

I have a similar issue on my Dell laptop with ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS since a few days:
grub-efi-amd64-signed: Depends: grub2-common (>= 2.02~beta2-36ubuntu3.31) but 2.04-1ubuntu26.11 is to be installed
I tried to purge and configure grub but nothing did work so far and it seems to turn in circle.

I saw the same issue on my XPS 13, and I found a related bug report on the Ubuntu developer site: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2-signed/+bug/1920008
Looking at that discussion, it looks like the fix has been released. I was able to resolve the issue by updating my grub-efi-amd64-signed:
sudo apt install grub-efi-amd64-signed
