Disc drive disappeared after installing Linux
Hi, I have dell Latitude 7490 and I see no harddisc drives in it after installing Linux. I am really afraid I broke the harddrive forever. What I did is installing Linux in the legacy boot mode by mistake. This way I installed it from USB onto the internal disc drive. The installatino went well. After restart I couldnt see my disc drive and couldnt boot to it. I suppose it is that I installed a "legacy" linux in this way and in BIOS there is a warning that legacy systems on internal drives are not supported... Is this what happened?
Please tell me there is a way to get my drive to work again or is it the end? Should I get a new drive? What to do?
