dimension e510 will not boot to fedora 7 live cd desktop

we are unable to boot redhat's fedora 7 live cd on a dell dimension e510. we get to a point where fedora 7 displays "ready" and hangs. fedora 7 live cd normally boots to a gnome (or kde) desktop. has anyone seen this problem before?

It could be that the downloaded image is not burned properly on the CD....this could definitely lead to the problem that you are facing. Try burning the image on to the CD again if possible...this should solve your issue!!
