Can't wake Inspiron 5415 Ubuntu from sleep
I have a Dell Inspiron 5415 with dual boot Windows 10 + Ubuntu 20.04.3. The processor is Ryzen 5 5500U. I can't wake my laptop after putting it into sleep. It works fine on Windows though. While sleeping, I can change the backlight key brightness and also, if I press some random combination of keys, it wakes up from sleep, sometimes. Anyone has a solution for this? I can provide more info if needed.

Somewhat related, I have installed Linux Mint 20.2 (based on Ubuntu) and I can't wake my Vostro 1000 up from sleep mode either. After much research in both the LM and Ubuntu tech forums, it seems to be a bug in the kernel. At least on the LM side. But since these OS's are similar, you apparently are experiencing the same. This won't be a fix Dell would support. Try your question in Ubuntu groups if you haven't done so already.
