Bluetooth support for MS3320W mouse on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Recently purchased an Inspiron New 5400 2-in-1 and a MS3320W wireless mouse. The mouse supports both USB and Bluetooth, and the laptop shipped with WIndows 10. I tested the mouse with bluetooth under windows and it works fine, but I cannot get it to pair under Ubuntu. It does work in USB mode. I am not using a dual boot setup, only Ubuntu. (So if you are wondering if the New 5400 can run ubuntu, it can)

I've spent some time troubleshooting this, but am starting to wonder if I'm missing driver support or firmware that isn't included in Ubuntu. As you can see below, the controller can see the device but fails to pair because of an authentication error.

Any tips are welcomed.

If someone has an XPS 13 developer edition, is it possible for you to check and see if Dell includes a repo in the sources.list that hosts additional dell specific packages? And if so, is it something I could access as well?

I have the same problem. Mouse works by Bluetooth with android perfectly, and not with Ubuntu. Found no solution so far.

Funny thing is, tech spec says: Bluetooth
• Windows 8.1, 10 and 11; Mac; Linux (Red Hat Enterprise 8.0 /Ubuntu 18.4);
Chrome; and Android OS

Yes, I have the same, ubuntu 23.10 on vostro 3420 - luckily my mouse also has a 2,4 ghz dongle, so I'm just using that.
