Battery won't charge and trackpad buttons don't work on Ubuntu
I just received a new Dell Precision 7750 which came with Windows 10 installed. As I use the Nvidia data science stack for my work, I've installed Ubuntu, as this machine is supposedly certified.
Unfortunately, I've encountered a number of issues.
1. My battery won't charge past 28%. I've tried a range of BIOS settings, and it has yet to go past 28% on either Ubuntu 18.04 LTS or Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
2. The buttons below the trackpad don't work properly.
From what I have read, the version of Ubuntu that ships with the 7750 is tweaked to work, but the tweaks present are not within Ubuntu itself, so if you install Vanilla Ubuntu you'll face configuration issues.
When I try to download the Ubuntu image for my machine, the Dell site won't allow me because it shipped with Windows. I contacted Dell support and they said they couldn't provide the OS image and wanted to charge me for support.
Has anyone had success in getting this installed and working properly, please? I'd really appreciate any tips.
Thanks!

For anyone else with the same issues, a BIOS and NVME firmware patch was shown in the Ubuntu software centre, so I've installed these and the battery now charges to 100%. (Impressed that BIOS updates can be added via the software centre.)
I'm still unable to get the buttons below the trackpad working in an intuitive manner.
Right click can be achieved by tapping the trackpad with two fingers.
Left click can be achieved by touching the left mouse button with a finger still on the trackpad.
