Area 51m ubuntu black screen
Hi guys
I recently tried installing kubuntu 21.04 on my area 51m (i7 9700k 32 ram 1tb m2 and 512 m2, rtx 2080 144hz tobi eye trackinf). The first issue I had was with getting the nvidia drivers working on ubuntu. I decided to boot back in to windows and run the dell support assidt to ensure everything was up to date. It then installed a new bios (1.5 to 1.14),intel management engine and Toshiba ssd firmware. I then wiped the ssd i installed ubuntu on and proceeded to start again. Now i cant boot any configuration of kubuntu. As soon i select ubuntu from grub all i get is a black screen. Even if i use the recovery mode from grub, all i see is loading Linux kernel and then it gets stuck on loading initial ramdisk. Secure boot is working fine (i enrolled the mok keys fine) and have selected ahsi from bios. Windows works fine surprisingly.
And one more issue i had was my service tag not being recognised. Not sure why that is
Thanks in advance
