WCOM484D Touch Screen Firmware Needed - Latitude 5290 2-in-1

Hey all,

At first i must admit that half of this is my fault. The touch screen of my laptop stopped working after a windows update, and later i discovered that it was a Firmware Change (WCOM484D to WCOM484E). The new firmware wasn't working and the older one wasn't publicly available. So i installed the touch screen firmware from another dell model. And now my touch screen identifies as 0x0000. All the Dell specialists out there, who are seeing this. Please give me the Firmware for WCOM484D (not 484E because it doesn't work) This is very critical. Thanks

Even if you find the firmware  you're looking for, I doubt you'll find a way to flash it.

The screen is not that expensive, and you're likely to need to replace it in the end anyway.

@ejn63 Even if i replace the screen, there's a windows update that silently pushes the WCOM484E update and it will break again. We just need something like a firmware recovery tool because this problem is happening to many other people too, you can check reddit and my other posts. Thanks

I do not think such a recovery tool exists for screen firmware.  Have you tried a firmware recovery for the system?
