Trellix Drive Encryption “Inactive” Issue on Dell Latitude 5440/5450

We’re experiencing a recurring issue with Trellix Drive Encryption across several Dell Latitude 5440 and 5450 devices. The encryption status shows as "Inactive", and in many cases, this leads to an additional error at boot: "No bootable device found" in the UEFI. Using the DEtech Emergency Boot tool, we confirmed that the bootloader file is missing, which prevents Windows from starting.

All affected machines are the same Dell Latitude models. In ePO, these systems are stuck in a "failed activation" loop
