Problem with usb-c ports in my Dell Latitude 5420

Today I tried to connect a fully updated Samsung T7 Shield SSD disck in both ports but there is no responce! None port works and the SSD is not recognized. I then tried to connect my android mobile phone in both usb-c ports and in both casew it start charging but it has no data communication. Power supply works, data seems to be deactivated in both usb-s ports. Both usb-c ports works on charging the laptop. I tried to connect thw Samsung SSD and my phone to the other two usb-a 3.2 ports of the laptop and there is no problem. I tried to check the BIOS of my laptop (fully updated through Dell Assist) and I checked all activated about the usb-c ports. I am not very familiarized with all of ythis stuff inside BIOS. Can anyone help?
