Lattitude 5450 Audio increasingly chopped up watching Youtubes

Over a few hours of watching instructional Youtubes, the audio occasionally becomes chopped.  This gradually increases until it becomes quite annoying.  A reset of the PC fixes the problem, but then it gradually shows up again after a while and again increases the frequency of the chopped audio until a reset is done again.  I assume this is a software problem, but I just received my laptop back from warrantee replacement of the main circuit board, so I did not expect this.  I had reported the problem as one of the three problems that I was sending it in for repair.  Obviously, they didn't fix this problem.  I see that other Dell laptops have had this type of problem going back as far as 2006.  I am surprized it is not fixed.  There is no hardware accelerator setting on the Windows 11 system installed on this laptop.

Try a fresh install of Windows 11 and see if that clears up the mess

I suggest some USB sticks to save installer programs, I use several to make a  fresh install faster
