Latitude 9450 Touchscreen Not Working
I have a Dell Latitude 9450. I recently changed the keyboard and touchpad which involved putting the laptop into service mode. I think this caused issues with the TPM and touchscreen. TPM issues are now fixed but I can't get the touchscreen working. The laptop has just gone out of support by a few weeks.
Originally, it was working in BIOS but not Windows 11. I tried removing all the drivers and updating/reinstalling them all (chipset, serial IO and a couple others) and updating BIOS as well. As nothing worked I searched for some firmware for it and came upon Wacom Touch Screen Firmware Update Utility | Driver Details | Dell Australia. In my haste, I misread the page and thought it said it was for my laptop, as I had already put my service tag in. After flashing it, it no longer worked in BIOS either :(
I have tried flashing the BIOS multiple ways but cannot get it going. Does anyone know if I can get firmware for the touchscreen from anywhere? Is there anything else I can do?

I've never seen it possible to recover from a bad screen firmware flash -- the only sure solution is a screen replacement.

Yikes! 😢
Thanks for the update. I have contacted my account manager and will wait and see what they say.
