Latitude 7420 - what is the "USH" connection on the motherboard for?
Hi everyone!
I have a Latitude 7420 and I was installing a fingerprint reader when I noticed that there is a connection on the motherboard for "USH"

I'm just curious, what is the "USH" connection on the motherboard for?
Thanks!

On a Dell Latitude, the USH (Unified Security Hub) connection is a dedicated internal port for security features like fingerprint readers, smart card readers, or NFC.
The USH connection from your Latitude connected to the USH board, which supports Smart Card Reader and NFC module.
