For direct Dell Technical Support, click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share with them the private Service Tag, issues, this thread link, and all of your troubleshooting. This will in turn generate a unique Technical Support case for your unique Service Tag.

Blue screens are generally pretty tedious to troubleshoot. I'd recommend backing up data since most BSODs are software related. If they get worse, then you may need to look into reinstalling Windows. I'd recommend checking out the following article with our general troubleshooting steps:

How to Troubleshoot Black Screen Errors, Blue Screen Errors, or Stop Code Errors on a Dell Computer

From the bug check, taskhostw.exe is the victim—the real trigger is likely a background task, COM handler, or add‑in running underneath it. Try to keep note of what is running and seeing if there is some specific action that is causing the BSOD to occur. If its more random, then it'd be good idea to run these commands in the command prompt:

sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

If you have corrupt OS files, that should help clean them up. Selecting the Get Help Now button should route you to support to help troubleshoot that further.

Hi Daniel -- Thank you for your reply. The result of the above is extreme lag, no blue/black screen. I have run  sfc as well as dism commands and it did not find any corruption. This device is unfortunately out of warranty. I have updated the drivers/bios.
