Dell latitude C600
My Dell latitude C600 after turning ON!! It tells me that the windows did not successfuly turn on due to hardware or software changes ...do any of you know what is wrong?

Most likely it's a failed hard drive.

You can first try reinstalling the operating system on the drive as is. Whether you really want to put any money in to a system that's 25 years old at this point is a question you'll have to answer if that doesn't work.

Due to it's age it may not have an encrypted Drive, if that is the case, perhaps make something along these lines...
If you make any progress, and want more info please ask.
The hope is that you can recover something, rather than having to dispose of the device.
