Dell E7440 cant connect to 5ghz wifi

Please help me my laptop can only connect to 2.4ghz but cant to 5ghz . What should i do ? Can i upgrade my wifi card and if i can which card should i upgrade to ? My current wifi card is DW1503

That's a single-band card -- 2.4 GHz only.

The system uses the now obsolete half miniPCIe (not the current M.2/NGFF) form factor, so you'll need to look for a dual-band card in that format.

The Intel 7260 card should fill your needs.

You need the half mini PCIe format (make sure you don't buy an M.2 2230 or any other M.2, which won't fit this old system).

@ejn63​ Thanks for helping me but which one should i buy the half mini pcie or mini pcie or they are the same and will fit in my wifi slot ?

@ejn63​ Im living in Vietnam so after searching for for awhile it seems like they dont really sell half mini pcie Intel 7260 here anymore but i found they sell alternative wifi card like DW1540 and DW1550 card, can i buy this ?

Those should work as well.

Remember to uninstall the driver for the existing card before you shut down the system to install the replacement.
