Dell 9410 Battery diagnose and Service
Haven't used my 9410 in a while then got it out to do Taxes. I noticed battery keeps going down. Last night it was fully charged 1000%. I turned it off. Today, 24 hours later, I turned it back on and the battery is 62%. If it was turned off there should be very little draw on the battery. What should I do and investigate now?

Yeah, ANYTHING with a Lithium-Ion battery needs to be "actually used" or the battery goes bad. If it's "built in" it turns-into a repair-job. Never let battery reach 0% in storage.
I run into this with various things ... including having too many laptops and portable devices for two people ... secondary devices too good to recycle. I finally gave away some instead of having them sit in the closet getting old.
Try charging to 100%, then run it down to 10-20%. Do that (during normal use) a couple of times and see if that "exercising the battery" helps. Always store-away to 90-100% ... in temperature controlled environment like closet (not garage or shed).
