7470 Ram upgrade

I'm seeking expert advice, on how best to add more ram to my E7470? It has 8GB in bank 1 with bank 2 empty. CPU-Z shows 'DDR4 Single channel 8GB'.

The Crucial ram check, says I need: DDR4-2400 CL=17 NON-ECC SODIMM 260-pin 1.2V 1Rx8 PC4-19200 - but is this correct? What do I need to watch out for?

Many thanks if you can advise.

Kind regards, Niloc1017

DDR4-2400 is cheap today, so I wouldn't buy a second 8 GB RAM.
The new one should also go to the old Module in the timings.
Better exchange the old 8 GB for a new one 16 -GB module.

Crucial have good and cheap modules in the program.

It does not have to be the most expensive, because this latitude cannot follow to fast timings, has to fall back.

You can already follow the recommendation on the crucial website
