vostro won't boot
My laptop has suddenly failed to boot. With error that DLL initialization winsrv failed.
Does anyone know where I can find this dll?

When did your issue start? If you're using windows vista or windows 7 you can do a system restore by either booting to F8 (advanced boot options). You can also try running startup repair from there.

Boot to your Operating System disk and do a repair or reinstall. You should have mentioned your OS. If you are able to boot to Safe Mode, try a System Restore to go back to the day before this happened.

Repair allways stopped with the same error message about winsrv.
However I tried a restore as suggested and that fixed the disk error and finally rebooted.
