Using a Dell Studio 1555 charger with a Dell Latitude D520 laptop?

Is it possible and okay to use a Dell Studio 1555 charger with a Dell Latitude D520 laptop? I have a Dell Studio 1555 that kicked the bucket 2 weeks after the warranty expired and my friends Dell Latitude D520's charger went bad. Would it be okay or even possibly to use my old charger with their laptop?
