need help

i need help with clearing the cmos on a e1505 removing battery dose not work.

why i need to do this is simple,

1 unit was stolen

2 reported to dell and listed on the stolen laptop data bace

3 unit was taken to best buy and over written

4 dell gave ownership to new owner even though it was listed as a stolen unit???????????????????????????????????????

5 new owner pawned unit

6 orange county sheriff's office recovered unit ,,i had to pay the pawn broker to get it back...

7 unit has new passwords in the bios

how do i find the cmos jumper or switch???????????????

dell phone suport wants me to pay them for help cant put any more money in this please help

The only way you'll get this done is to call, prove YOU OWN the system, and pay the $50 for the support call.  MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE before you do this that the service tag number hasn't been wiped from the system - if it has, you're completely out of luck.  If the service tag is still there, upon proof of ownership you'll be issued the master password.  Yes, it costs $50 for the support call if you're out of warranty.

If the service tag HAS been wiped, you've only one other option- replace the mainboard.
