MS bluetooth Wireless Desktop 7000

Has anyone tried this MS bluetooth keyboard/mouse with anything? http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=081&active_tab=systemRequirements I'm thinking of trying it with my 8600 and bluetooth 355 card. I don't know if I'll be able to use any of the 'special' features if I don't use the included USB bluetooth thingy. I wonder if it'll even be able to connect at all... Anyone?
