Inspiron 1525 - short battery life
I've had my Inspiron 1525 for about 3 months. Most of the time it is connected to power but every now and then I have tried using it with battery power only. Despite the fact that it akways starts out with 100% battery it runs down to nothing in about 45 minutes. Is it a fauly battery or should I be doing something I don't know about to get maximum life out of the battery.

if your running hard the battery doesnt last too long... your best bet is to click on the battery icon on your taskbar and change it to "battery saver"...

I have the same problem as well. I do not know what to do, for example it is written that it has 2 hours battery. but after 15 min the alarm comes that I don't have any battery left.
I had this problem since I bought it, should I call the customer service or it is normal?
Another question
Is this wrong to plug the laptop's adaptor to the ac and work with it or it is better always use its battery?
Thanks

if your system is newer (couple months), i would contact dell.
it doesnt really matter, i run mine off the ac most of the time, just so i dont loose my work.
