D630 - Internet Connections Questions
I'm a new owner of a Latitude D630 laptop; actually the first laptop I've owned, and was wondering how it determined how to connect to a WiFi signal, if one is available.
I've successfully connected it, via Ethernet cable, to my cable modem; but was wondering if I were at a place with WiFi would it automatically detect the signal, or would I have to have some software running.

Hi wr2013,
Latitude D630 has a wireless card and it can connect to a WiFi network. You will need to turn on the wireless using the switch provided on left side with a radio symbol next to it. Please download the User's Guide from the following link for steps to connect to a wireless network:
