[Q] IP Pool Type to use SMB3.0 CA
Hello Experts,
When using SMB3.0 CA with OneFS8.0, do we have to use dynamic IP pool as mentioned for NFSv4 CA?
As far as i checked in lab testing, SMB reconnect after I/F or Node down is established with new IP address on the new Node (don't keep the original IP on the new Node after IP failover). I don't think dynamic pool is neccessary.

That is correct. You dont need dynamic pools.
This is only necessary for stateless protocols like nfsv3
