Member of SMB Shares Isilon is undefined because that user was removed from Active Directory
Hi, I use active directory to access SMB Shares on Isilon. When the user was removed from active directory, that user switch to "undefined" as below:
When user was removed from active directory, can isilon removed them too? since isilon already join to active directory
Thanks

Hello Playhard,
Did you configure -inheritable-path-acl option? If not, then you can look on page 137 of the following link. https://dell.to/3J9XEJj

Hi DELL-Sam L,
thanks for your response, actually that folder is not home directory, it's just common smb share. And from the document, I must create the ACL first then modify that ACL.
Is my issue above refer to ACL? cause I think it's refer to active directory, which is when the user removed from active directory, means that user access must be removed too from all SMB share or Isilon.
Kindly advise

Hello Playhard,
It maybe the issue with your AD. I was just looking to make sure that that there is not an issue with your ACL as I have seen in the past that can cause an issue.
