isi_vol_copy_vnx

Hi All,

We are planning to use (isi_vol_copy_vnx) to move data from VNX to Isilon. Our CIFS server (on VNX) is created using VDM. Have couple questions.

<> In the syntax below, can you guys confirm if the IP refers to the interface used while creating the CIFS server on VNX.

               isi_vol_copy_vnx <IP>:/ /ifs/data/vnx_migration/test -full -sa  username

<> Our file systems are backed up using NDMP. Since this command (isi_vol_copy_vnx) also uses NDMP, there is a concern that it might reset the NDMP markers on the file systems, forcing the next backup to be full (instead of incremental). Should we be worried?
