Isilon X410 "The media is write protected" error

I am unable to delete files off of my appliance due to file ownership issues. When trying to take ownership via File Explorer in Windows, I am getting the error "An erro occured while aplying security information to: <filepath> The media is write protected." I can't find anything in the GUI of the appliance that can disable write protection.
