Isilon NL-400 & NL-410, Access to Downloads and Documentation?

I have an NL-400 and NL-410 that I've upgraded and repurposed at work. I was hoping I could have a look at the downloads and documents for these machines. However, Dell's website tells me that I do not have account permissions to access that content. I tried following the How to Register for Access to Dell Technologies Online Support or Upgrade an Existing Account but I still have just a green checkmark account. I used a work email account for account creation. Is there a way to access those things without some sort of payment or service contract? I think the machines are end-of-life but I found a use for them. I wanted to try messaging support to beg for access, but Chat isn't clickable. Create Service Request is clickable but in Firefox it does nothing and in Edge it just loops me back to selecting a product.

Hi.

Thank you for your question.

How long has it been since you requested access? Is your company the original owner?

Let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

Thanks,

Josh

I was not able to request access because the web site isn't working. As I mentioned, every time I clicked on Create Service Request to request access it just looped me back to selecting the Isilon model. So, how else can I request access to the Isilon related resources?

My company is not the original owner. I work at an IT asset disposal / e-waste recycling business. I just happened to find a use for the Isilons at work.

Ownership information not matching might be why. If you have previous owner info, you could try Ownership Transfer | Dell US

@DELL-Josh Cr, yes I had a look at https://www.dell.com/support/assets-transfer/en-us  to try a transfer of ownership however the start of the process is to provide a service tag. It seems the EMC Isilon NL400 and 410 are old enough that they do not have Dell's name on them and the web form does not recognize their serial numbers as a service tag. I found this article https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000020536/isilon-how-to-find-serial-numbers-for-isilon-nodes which helped me confirm I have correctly identified the serial on my device. I looked at the Bulk Transfers option but again it specifically wants service tags and not serial numbers.

There doesn't seem to be a way to transfer those anymore. Also, I don't even see any manuals available for those platforms. Seems like we removed everything.

if node boots up, try isi_reformat_node to make node as new again and create cluster.
