InsightIQ on Hyper-V
Hi all,
Help me out on this,
I have one cluster with 8 nodes and we upgraded it to OneFS 9.7.3.
We need insightiq 5.2 to be set up as the older version we had 4.4.1 cannot manage it anymore.
We only have hyper-v environment.
If I try simple install by converting the vmdk to vhdx , the vm doesn't boot up to insightiq prompt.
It is stuck at emergency mode requesting the root password which i dont know.
Can i do a scale install with one insightiq node only? or has anyone managed to do a simple vm on hyperv environment.

use the scale deployment script on a hyper-v linux vm

@Phil.Lam The scale deployment script needs the additional 2x worker ips and wouldn't execute without it.

@kable2509 , that's the requirement of scale out, 3 vm minimum.

@Phil.Lam I have one Isilon array to manage and don't want 3 VMs with 12 vCPU and 32 GB memory for that :(

@Phil.Lam I did try, didn't work.
The VM is built with the inputs given while importing the vm in Hyper-v.

@kable2509 , IIQ 6 comming out soon, maybe that can be intalled on 1 linux vm.
