can we enable rfc2307 after Isilon is already online

Question

can we enable rfc2307 under services for Unix after Isilon (Existing cluster which is already in the production) is added to the AD and will there be any impact and also will it be effective??

raise SR as its a change of the lookup the isilon does so may mean a change on the isilon config so its aware of the change and looks in the 'correct' fields.

We did enabled the rfc2307 and did not see any issues. Anyhow thanks for your response

Remember to disable Autogen SID, Autogen UID once rfc2307 is enabled. Backup & clean up mapping db too. # isi auth mapping dump -f /ifs/data/mapping.dump # isi auth mapping delete –all –only-generated
