Add new user to ISILON and SCP
Hello,
We are using ISILON as backup storage and I have to create a user for our support App-Team on ISILON cluster, allowing them access to ISILON by SCP and then copy data if needed from some SMB Shares (from .snapshot folder) .
Is it possibl to create this kind of user ?? If yes, is possible from GUI ?? (I dpn't want to provide them root password ;))
Thanks

Hello tedew,
What is your current OneFS version? If you are using version 9.8 then you can assign root level privileges to nonroot users. Here is a link to the Security configuration guide and if you look on page 94 it explains how to do this. https://dell.to/45OCTii
