How to configure e-mail notification (IDPA 4400)

For any IDPA model DPxxxx and all or most versions:

1. logon to acm dashboard as root with the IDPA common password.
2. In the lower right corner section Customer Information, click the Settings icon  (rt side of blue title bar), then Configure Email (will ask for smtp server, port (usually 25) and administrator email to be notified).

The acm collects important notification info from critical IDPA components and sends the notification on their behalf. It is also possible to configure some of the components to send emails separately.
