Worst quality of Dell Inspiron Laptop with Inbuilt Post-Warranty Obsolescence
Hi,
I've bought this Dell Inspiron Laptop in April 2022. Initial working was fine but post warranty period there have been a series of problems
1. Breakage of laptop case of keypad side - June 2023
2. Camera dysfunction - January 2024
3. Breakage of screen frame -June 2024
4. Power inlet malfunction (plug not seating properly) - August 2024
5. Screen blinking/Sceeen auto-off - October-2024
I've used Inspiron laptops right from 2001 and earlier machines were really sturdy and I've used them for 5-7 years at a stretch with a lot of travel in India and even abroad. Now these <Profanity is never allowed on our Forum. DELL-Admin> things are not even lasting even more than 2 years even without any travel.
I guess Dell, like other manufacturers is looking at auto obsolescence. What will the right to repair law give us when the quality of products are so fragile and pathetic that they just break apart miserably in 2 years. Whatever happened to its commitment to sustainability.

What do you suggest ? Will Dell give me a complete repair/replacement free of cost?

The original Post did not appear because of a Forum software issue. That Post is now live.

* No. Dell will follow the Dell guidelines of the purchased warranty. You purchased a 1 year warranty. It is now 1 1/2 years past that warranty end date. Any repairs through Dell must be purchased by you through the out of warranty service.

<Merged to original Post. DELL-Admin>
I wrote a post on poor experience with the quality of Dell Inspiron Laptop which is just 2yrs and 5 months old in this community and it was instantly inaccessible once it was posted. Is the community not entitled to know the poor quality of your products. I've given a very pragmatic view of the product asking Dell if it isnt planned obsolescence post warranty.
I'm posted the same review on many other sites. Now you go find them and take each one of those down :)
Are we in some kind of autocratic regime here. I've got a right to voice my genuine discontent with a product for which I've paid hard earned money.
I'm taking screenshots of each of these posts. So, will repost those on other website if my posts are deleted or inaccessible
