Click here for information on resolving the mouse issue.

To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them.  Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.

Well try the following:

1. Check the Power Source
2. Inspect the USB Receiver or Bluetooth
3. Test on Another Device
4. Update or Reinstall Drivers in your system sometime any outdated driver can be the reason.

If your wireless mouse scroll wheel isn’t working and it’s still under warranty, here’s what you can do:

  1. Check the Batteries:
Ensure the mouse has fresh batteries or is fully charged (if it’s rechargeable). Sometimes low power can cause erratic behavior.

  2. Re-sync the Mouse:
If the mouse is wireless, try re-syncing it with the receiver. Unplug the receiver, wait a few seconds, and plug it back in. Press the sync button on both the receiver and the mouse (if applicable).

  3. Test on Another Device:
Plug the receiver into a different computer to see if the issue is with the mouse or your computer.

  4. Update Drivers:
Check if your computer’s mouse drivers are up to date. Go to Device Manager > Mice and other pointing devices, right-click on your mouse, and select Update driver.

  5. Check Settings:
In Windows Settings, go to Devices > Mouse, and make sure the scroll settings are configured correctly. You can adjust the scrolling speed here as well.

  6. Contact the Manufacturer:
Since your mouse is under warranty , contact the manufacturer’s customer support for a replacement or repair. Use the serial number when reaching out to them.
