WD18TBS on MacBook Air M1

Good evening everyone,

I use a MacBook Air M1 with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD for my daily tasks.

By chance, a few days ago, I was at a workstation where there was a WD19S docking station.

Since it worked perfectly with my MacBook, I decided to purchase a Dell WD19TBS docking station.

However, compared to the version I use at the office, I noticed some peculiarities and a behavior that left me puzzled.

Every time I shut down or restart my Mac, the docking station turns off, and the power adapter connected to the docking station also turns off.

Is this behavior normal?
