USB Receiver Dongle for RT7D40 Keyboard?
I am seeking the part number for the RT7D40 Wireless Keyboard or at least II think that is the part number as it iisn't on the actual keyboard but Google Lens says that is the one. The manual has no part number and eBay hasn't been helpful. It would be nice to now what it looks like to see if I could have it.
It does not look like the Universal works with this keyboard. This should not be so hard to identify replacement parts or get a part number.

Universal receivers will work with multiple keyboard/mouse devices. Most of the keyboard/mouse/receiver combos have receiver that's matched to the specific keyboard/mouse they ship with -- there is no way to replace just the receiver. You need a completely new keyboard/mouse/receiver setup.

@ejn63 - I am aware they work with multiple but this model is not listed as compatible with any that I have seen. There is a way to get a replacement. You find someone selling a used one on eBay or another marketplace but a part number would be helpful or at least a picture. I sell estates for a living so I end up with tons of wireless items that need a receiver and replace them all the time. I am not going to toss a perfectly usable keyboard and mouse in the trash over a little USB receiver just as no one should. I just need a part number which should not be so hard to find.
It is completely unacceptable that companies do not offer these in a world where reducing our trash is paramount. Most companies do sell them separately but it does not surprise me that Dell does not.
