Upgrade Question – Dell Inspiron 14 7445 2-in-1 (Ryzen 5 8640HS)
Hello, I own a Dell Inspiron 14 7445 2-in-1 (Ryzen 5 8640HS), and I would like to confirm the upgrade possibilities for this laptop
1. Can I upgrade the RAM to 32GB (2x16GB DDR5 5600 MT/s)?
2. Can I upgrade the NVMe SSD to 2TB (PCIe Gen4)?
I checked the official documentation which mentions support up to 16GB RAM, but I’ve seen some community (redd**) reports saying that 32GB and 2 TB is possible.
Has anyone here successfully upgraded to these specs? Are there any known issues with stability or BIOS updates after the upgrade?
