Unable to update drivers in newly bought Dell G15, 5530

Dell G15 5530

Dell G15 5530

So I have purchased Dell g15 5530 a month back. Post purchase I tried to update the drivers through support assist but everytime the scan failed.

I uninstalled existing AWCC from laptop and installed latest version from Dell site (4 days back) but post install its not launching.

Now I connected to Dell Vistual assistant and they asked to run Diagnostics, which i did, gave the validation code. And they asked to re-install Support Assist. I uninstalled, re-installed.. now Support Assist is not launching at all.

What can be done.. here to solve this issue ?

Hi

Try...

https://www.dell.com/support/product-details/en-uk/product/g-series-15-5530-laptop/drivers

It may actually be possible to do an individual download?

Hi

Can you download things like Belarc Advisor or Ccleaner?

:~/Downloads$ ls -l

I am using Linux Mint this morning and I managed to download AWCC, which I shall now delete.

So maybe a different browser, or firewall setting?

Try doing a clean boot of Windows, then reinstall SupportAssist and AWCC again. Also make sure .NET Framework and Windows are fully updated that helped fix it for me.
