Technical Question: G15 5535 (AMD) vs 5530 (Intel) - Wattage & Keyboard Differences

Hi Community,

I am the owner of a Dell G15 5535 (AMD) equipped with the RTX 3050. I have been comparing my machine to the Intel equivalent (G15 5530), which also has the RTX 3050, and I am curious about two specific hardware differences I noticed:

  1. Charger Wattage: My 5535 came with a 240W adapter, whereas the 5530 typically ships with a 180W adapter. Since they share the same GPU, is there a specific technical reason why the AMD model is paired with the higher 240W brick?

  2. Keyboard Backlight: The 5535 generally comes with the Orange backlit keyboard, while the 5530 often features RGB. I am just curious why there is a distinction in standard features between the two models when the chassis is so similar.

Thanks for any insights!
