It sounds like your Dell G15 55350 is stuck in an update loop. Since you mentioned the issue only started after doing updates last month, it’s likely either a corrupted Windows Update component or a Dell firmware/driver mismatch.
Here are a few things you can try:
Reset Windows Update Components
Run the built-in Windows Update Troubleshooter.
If that doesn’t work, manually reset update services with Command Prompt.
Update BIOS & Drivers Manually
Don’t rely only on Dell Update. Go to Dell’s support site, enter your Service Tag, and download the latest BIOS, chipset, and drivers.
You can alsoget more update on H555 Download for similar or different issues.
.
Check Fast Startup / BitLocker
Disable Fast Startup in Power Options and see if the restart issue improves.
If BitLocker is enabled, suspend it before running BIOS updates.
Repair System Files
Run sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth to repair corrupted update files.
Consider a Clean Reinstall
If the loop keeps happening, a clean reinstall of Windows 11 using Dell Recovery Tool may be the fastest fix.
I agree Dell’s customer service can be hit or miss, but if you keep logs/screenshots of the issue, it helps escalate the case.
