So upset with Dell!

I got a Dell xps about 2 yrs ago. paid $1500 for this laptop and i have put another 5 or $600 into it mem, ddr! For reasons idk, it keeps trying to install updates for windows and stops at 100%! I reset the system twice now in last 3 days and it doing it again? I want to throw the thing across the room. I shouldn't have this kind of trouble from something that cost so much! Oh yea and trade in value is like $300. thanks dell!
