RTX 3060 Power Limiting Issue (45W) – Dell G15 5511
Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing a power limiting issue with the RTX 3060 on my Dell G15 5511 laptop. Here’s what’s happening:
In games, the GPU is automatically limited to 45W.
When I re-enable the dGPU from Device Manager, it temporarily returns to its normal power draw (around 130W).
However, after a short while, it drops back and sticks at 45W, and this happens in both games and FurMark.
So basically, the GPU temporarily runs at full performance after a restart, but then throttles back again.
Has anyone else experienced this or found a solution?
