Replacing 120hz screen with 144hz screen on dell g3 15
So I have a dell g3 15 gtx 1650 core i5 10th gen…I recently broke the lcd and have been thinking of replacing the screen when I stumbled across a 144hz screen for my dell g3 15 so I wanted to know if the new screen would be compatible and if my edp connector is 30 or 40pin

The lower refresh panels use a 30-pin connector. The 144 Hz panel uses a 40 pin -- to upgrade the former to the latter, you'll need to replace the mainboard as well as the display.

@ejn63 so does this mean my 120hz pc uses a 30 pin connector?

It appears the 120 Hz screen uses the 40 pin connector. As for whether one will work, that's open to question; you'll need to try. Bear in mind you will see a hotter running system and reduced battery runtimes vs. the lower refresh screen.
