Has anyone ever heard of a service repair for a brand new Laptop diagnose with motherboard needs replacing taking until Tues. Aug 11, 2026 for parts? That's what Dell service repair posted on my account. Tried reaching out to Dell to only be told that's the estimated repair time.

If "brand new" is from Dell within the last 30 days, return it for a refund.
If it's older than 30 days, no -- that's not a reasonable repair time. Ask for a replacement system.
